Does ClinFlow use AI?
ClinFlow includes ClinMate, an optional AI-assisted workflow for dictation and letter refinement.
Where supported, audio remains on your device and transcription runs locally in the browser. When you choose to use ClinMate, the relevant letter text is sent through ClinFlow's AI route to the configured provider for refinement.
ClinFlow does not intentionally retain prompts, AI outputs, transcripts, or completed clinical letters. Reusable template content is checked before saving to help prevent patient-specific details being stored for future letters.
ClinMate operational analytics store metadata only, such as request status, timing, provider, model, retry count, token usage, and estimated cost. Analytics do not store prompts, transcripts, AI outputs, identifiers, or clinical content.
Clinicians should ensure any such tools comply with their privacy and confidentiality obligations before use.
